- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
- Log Data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs
- Cookies: See our Cookie Policy for details
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our property monitoring service
- Send you alerts about your monitored properties
- Process transactions and send billing-related communications
- Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
- Send promotional communications (with your consent)
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and fraud

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service Providers: Third parties that help us operate our service (payment processors, cloud hosting, analytics, email delivery, identity verification, and notarization partners)
- Advertising & Measurement Partners: Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, and similar platforms, to measure ad performance and deliver more relevant advertising. See Section 4 below for details
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
4. Advertising & Measurement Partners
To measure the effectiveness of our advertising, improve ad targeting, and reach new customers who would benefit from our service, we share limited information with advertising and measurement partners, including Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram) and Google LLC.
4.1 Meta Conversions API & Meta Pixel
We use Meta's Conversions API (a server-to-server integration) together with the Meta Pixel (a browser-based tag) to share event data with Meta. This data includes:
- Event data: The type of action you took (e.g., page view, form submission, subscription purchase), the time it occurred, the page URL, and non-sensitive custom parameters such as plan type and order value
- Cryptographically hashed customer information: Your email address, phone number, first and last name, city, state, ZIP code, country, and a randomly generated user identifier — each hashed using SHA-256 before transmission so Meta cannot reverse them to the original values. Meta uses these one-way hashes only to match events to a Meta account you may have, which improves advertising measurement
- Non-hashed identifiers for matching: Your IP address, browser User-Agent, and Meta's own first-party cookies (
_fbp,_fbc) when present
We include the Limited Data Use (LDU) flag on every event we send, which applies Meta's reduced data-processing mode for users in California and other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws. We do not share sensitive personal information, payment card details, full property records, notarized documents, or identity-verification results with Meta.
4.2 Google Analytics, Google Ads & Google Tag Manager
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads (via Google Tag Manager) to measure site usage and ad performance. Google may receive your IP address, device information, and event parameters. We configure these tools with IP anonymization where available and do not share hashed personal identifiers with Google.
4.3 Your Choices & Opt-Out
You can opt out of this advertising data sharing at any time:
- Meta: Adjust your ad preferences at facebook.com/settings?tab=ads, or use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out
- Google: Opt out at adssettings.google.com
- Title Barrier: Email us at privacy@titlebarrier.com with the subject "Do Not Share for Advertising" and we will remove you from our advertising audiences and stop sending your hashed identifiers to advertising partners
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor GPC signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing under applicable U.S. state privacy laws
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest

10. U.S. State Privacy Rights (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and others)

- Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate information

- Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising: We do not sell personal information for money. You can opt out via the methods listed in Section 4.3
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not use your sensitive personal information beyond what is needed to provide our core service
